From President to Chief Minister will participate in the Ravan Dahan program to be held in Red Fort
The tallest 110 feet effigy of Ravana will be burnt on Dussehra in Model Town of Ramlila, Delhi, while the smallest 25 feet effigy will burn in Ashok Vihar Phase Two. Apart from Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Meghnath by some Ramlila committees, the fourth effigy will be burnt on social issues. It also includes an effigy of Corona.
Due to the ban on firecrackers, Ramlila Samiti will do fireworks through the Sound and Laser Show. They are claiming not to use firecrackers in effigies.
Use of laser light: Prakash Chand and Rathi, ministers of Nav Shree Dharmik Leela Committee, which staged Ramlila at the Red Fort ground, told that this time the fourth effigy of coronavirus in the ground will be 20 feet in height. The fireworks program will be done through laser light and sound, the height of the effigy of Ravana has been fixed at 90 feet for Kumbhakaran and that of Meghnath at 8 feet.
Use of sound: Ravi Jain, spokesperson of Ramlila organized by Shri Dharmik Leela Committee at Madhav Das Park located at Red Fort Ground, said that the effigy of Ravana will be 80 feet and the height of the rest of the sons will be 5 feet less. There is a ban on firecrackers, due to which sound will be used for the sound of firecrackers, and fireworks will be shown with laser light.
Red Fort Ground- dignitaries will attend
Arjun Kumar, president of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, who organized Ramlila in Red Fort, said that our 9 effigies will burn this time. The size of the sons has been increased as compared to the previous years, it was told by the committee that 3 guests are coming for effigy burning. In this, the President of Delhi and actor Prabhas of Bahubali film will come, so at 9:00 effigies are being prepared, and one guest will burn three effigies.
These roads are closed- Netaji Subhash Marg Nishad Raj Marg Jawaharlal Nehru Marg Turkman Gate will be closed for general traffic from 5:00 pm on Wednesday. Looking at the condition, alternate routes will be given, while the route can be diverted given the traffic pressure near Punjabi Bagh.
Due to idol immersion in an artificial pond built on the Muradnagar Ganga canal in Ghaziabad, large and heavy vehicles will be banned from Tuesday to Wednesday on the Delhi-Meerut road. Traffic Police have issued instructions in this regard.

Rajesh Gehlot, chairman of Dwarka Shri Ramlila Society, which organized Ramlila in Dwarka Sector 10, said that the height of Ravana’s effigy will be 95 feet, that of Kumbhakaran 15 and that of Meghnath’s effigy will be 75 feet. A gap of 10 feet is being kept in these effigies.
Karkardooma- Use of environment-friendly firecrackers
Rakesh Sharma, head of Balaji Ramlila Committee, from the CBD ground in Karkardooma, told that the height of 2 kg will be between 8 feet to 60 feet. Will use electric firecrackers in which sparklers will be seen burning while sound instruments will make a sound like firecrackers.
Shalimar bagh- fireworks on screen
Publicity Minister of Shalimar Bagh Ramlila Committee B Block Sanjay Gupta said that the height of Ravana’s effigy will be 80feet Kumbhakaran and Meghnath’s 70 feet, and fireworks will be shown through light and sound on the day.
Ramlila Maidan- combustion after 2 years
Shri Ramlila Committee Chairman Ajay Agarwal told that the height of the sons has been increased by 10 feet from the first, this time the effigy of Ravana will be 95 feet while the height of the rest of the effigies will be reduced by 5 feet. after 2 years of combustion being done.
Ip extension- the fourth effigy will also burn
Suresh Bindal, the head of Ramlila organized by Shri Ramlila Committee Indraprastha at Utsav Ground, IP Extension, said that apart from Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Meghnath, the fourth effigy was also burnt, for this the twin tower of corruption coronavirus special will be included.
Shastri Park- also attacked corruption
Diwakar Pandey, General Secretary of Vishnu Avatar Ramlila Committee Shastri Park, told that the effigy of Ravana Kumbhakaran Meghnath will burn. Sapna, general secretary of the Indian Adarsh Ramlila Committee, which staged Ramlila at Mori Gate, said that the height of the three sons would be 40 feet.
Ashok Vihar Phase-2- who was shaped
Praveen Kumar, promotion president of Adarsh Ramlila Committee Ashok Vihar Phase 2, said that the sons’ size has been reduced due to pollution. The height of Ravana’s effigy will be 25 feet while the height of Kumbhakaran and Meghnath will be 20 feet, earlier the effigy of Ravana used to be 70 feet.
Deravala nagar – Kumbhakarna of 105 feet
Akhil Singhal, chairman of Nav Shree Manav Dharma Ramlila Committee, which organized Ramlila in Dera Wala Nagar of Model Town, said that the height of Ravana’s effigy is 110 feet, 105 feet of Kumbhkaran and the height of Meghnath’s effigy has been kept at 100 feet.
