According to a police officer, the girl who was 16 years old only was picked up in a car by a man she knew before being taken to a deserted location where two other men raped her.
NEW DELHI: Last week, three men reportedly sexually attacked the girl who was out for a drive in Vasant Vihar, southwest Delhi. According to the survivor’s testimony, a case was filed, and all three individuals were taken into custody.
On July 8, Safdarjung Hospital informed the police that a girl who is 16 years old had been brought there. During her medical examination. It had been discovered that she had allegedly been sexually molested. The survivor’s family claimed that three guys had raped her, and a police team met with them.
“According to the girl’s parents, she left her home in a WagonR automobile with three guys, two of whom she knew, at approximately 8.30 p.m. on July 6. The three men dropped her off at her home at seven the following morning. The family subsequently went to the police when the girl informed her parents that the three males had sexually assaulted her in the automobile “DCP (Southwest) Mano C. said.
According to the investigation, the four had driven to Mahipalpur, where they had purchased alcohol and consumed it while driving around.
“The males allegedly sexually assaulted the girl after driving her to a remote location. In her statement, she asserted that one of the males she knew kissed her first, followed by the other two who raped her. She underwent a medical examination, and the Vasant Vihar police station registered a rape case against her by the Pocso Act and IPC Section 376. The three guys, who are ages 23, 25, and 35, were taken into custody after a raid. The Wagon vehicle allegedly used in the crime has been seized “said a policeman.
Two of the guys were familiar to the victim, supporting the Delhi Police statistic that the accused in almost 98.7% of rape cases were either a family member, acquaintance, neighbour, or relative.
