September 10 is Suicide Prevention Day. The number of people who have lost hope in life and taken refuge in suicide has increased in recent years.
Despite the efforts of various organizations and the government to keep the suicide rate at bay, many are still unable to survive the onslaught of floods, Nipah and Covid. Rhythmic social insecurity, job loss and illness lead them to depression and then suicide. Â
When affecting children Â
Excessive phone use also affects the mental health of the average child. As friendships and learning narrowed down to online, their world became just that square.
We need to embrace the distance to pornographic websites, dating apps, and chat rooms with strangers that have shrunk beyond expectations.
As the evening draws to a close, our children become more and more emotional with their families. Reduce their mobile usage and spend more time with them only at the correct times and make sure that the safety of their life is in our hands from time to time.
We can’t forget the increased suicide rate of children during the Covid period.Â
When affecting families Â
We have seen family problems and suicide in many places. One year ago, a new name was added to the long list of alcohol, drug abuse, domestic violence, female abuse, mother-in-law war, illicit relationships and debt – and now Work from Home.
Studies show that when home, office, school, and college all move within four walls, relationships become tenser and suicide rates rise. Â
Solutions Â
The most important thing is to develop the mindset to include it when suggesting solutions. The first step is to learn to stop using the phrase, ‘You just have to say it, and those who suffer know it.’
Learn to accept life with absolute reality. It is essential to understand that good things happen in life and bad things can happen.Â
Instead of living in the past, try to find happiness in the present. Why should we worry about our future? We need to live present to worry about the coming future.Â
Do not try to infiltrate someone else by establishing emotional dominance in a romantic or marital relationship. It will go to the end of a relationship.
Man is not a social being. What is the solution to taking someone else’s life or taking our own life? Half the courage to try all this is enough to move forward in life with confidence. Â
Convince the family members that they are supportive and supportive of each other during family time, give older members the confidence that they can overcome stress together.
improve leisure time together with children, find exercise time that focuses on health, and make conversations about the importance of family prayer and family prayer effective.
But there are potent ways. Like ‘Java is simple … but also powerful’!  According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), suicides due to unemployment or loss increased by 24% between 2016 and 2019.
According to records, 2,851 people committed suicide in 2019. But in 2016, the figures were 2298.  Unemployment and suicide are highest in Karnataka.
While 553 cases were registered, Maharashtra was next with 454 points and Tamil Nadu with 251 patients. These figures are before the country was shaken by covid 19.
The number of people who have lost their jobs in the last two years of the epidemic is staggering and life-threatening. Â
Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) Chief Executive Mahesh Vyas estimates that 10 million Indians have lost their jobs in the wake of the second wave of covid 19.
At the very beginning of Covid’s wave, 97% of the total household income had fallen. We can bring this figure down through mutual trust and assistance.
One group should be open to talking about their problems, and the other should be open-minded. For a good section of people with a suicidal tendency, a small handful of hope is enough to hold life back with confident shining eyes. Â
