Diwali is almost here and holiday plans are being made by many. After two years of covid restrictions, people finally get to go for holidays since 2019. The scale is very large since most of the countries and domestic places are reopening. This Diwali is also very special cause it starts on Monday so people will get the weekend and then the Diwali so almost 5 days long holiday, this is why people are rushing to get their fight tickets booked but thereโs a catch.
Flight tickets are not cheap as it was last year. Airlines are also backing to the business since the pandemic hit them. Flight tickets price have been increased not onlyย because people are traveling more but fuel prices are also at all-time highs and inflation has raised most of the prices
The ticket prices of flights from 21st to 24th October, the time of Diwali. During this time, the country has been seeing high prices for air travel. Last August, The ministry of civil aviation lifted the limits imposed on domestic airfares after a time span of long 27 months. Adding to this, airlines were able to free to charge whatever they want with their passengers post-31st august. The price of ATF in Kolkata was 1.28 Lakhs per kilo-liter, which almost was 15 per lower than last month.ย ย

The Govt. of India had regulated airfares by imposing a maximum and a minimum price band based on the duration of the lights to prevent tickets get rocket high due to high demand coming from the countryโs people since the restrictions have been lifted.
Not a long ago, as per the reports, Kayak, an online travel organization, released its data which was based on an analysis of flight searches for the festive and holiday season in 2022.
It has revealed that flight searches have been up by 120 percent from Indian airports as compared to pre covid level. Apart from this, the data also revealed that searches are also up by a striking 150 percent of international flights whiles domestic flight searches have been increased by 90 percent.
This data is indicating a strong demand for air travel, domestic air traffic crossed its pre-covid level on Octoberย 9th with airports handling 2812 flights and 412,765 passengers departing. Analysts expect the momentum of demand will be remained strong on the shoulders of festival season and holidays from October to December though it needs to be seen whether the air traffics are able to able handle over 4 lakhs passengers on a daily basis.
The average of daily air traffic during October has been so far around 3.8 lakh passengers as it compared to September which was 3.3 lakh passengers.ย ย ย

The 1hr 45 min journey on an Air Asia flight costs โน23,561. The price of an IndiGo flight costs โน22,535 while that of a Vistara flight costs โน26,360. The cheapest is a non-stop flight which covers the distance from Mumbai to Jaipur in 10 hr 15 min and costs around โน18,000. Other non-stop flights costs between โน22,000- โน30,000. As per Google flights, the cheapest flights for the same trips to Jaipur usually cost between โน9,500โ โน14,000.
Delhi-Goa flight:
A Delhi to Goa non-stop flight takes 2 hours 20 min and ranges between โน16,000- โน17,000. The IndiGo round trip non-stop flight costs as much as 16,329, while AirAsia costs around โน16,309. The price of an Indigo flight costs around โน17,294.
Mumbai-Goa flights:
The prices of Mumbai-Goa flights ranges between โน9,667-18,604 for a round trip.

Kolkata-Jaipur flights:
