Heart arrest or heart attacks are very common these days. Often we are getting news of celebrities, athletes, politicians, or even younger ones dying due to sudden heart attacks. So, how do we recognize prior symptoms of a heart attack?
What is a heart attack?
A heart attack is a medical emergency, which occurs due to severe reduction or blockage of oxygen-rich blood that does not flow to the heart muscle.
The blockage can be due to a buildup of fat, cholesterol, and other substances in heart arteries. This deposition of cholesterol or fats is s called plaques. Sometimes, when the plaque ruptures it blocks blood flow, due to which can cause damage to the heart muscle.

1. Following a DASH diet: shifting to a healthy diet can protect your heart from diseases. The DASH diet approach is in such a way that includes an increased intake of fruits, vegetables, fish, whole grains, calcium, protein, fiber, magnesium, low-fat dairy p, products and low saturated fats and trans fats.
2. Keep your blood pressure in check: high blood pressure can increase the risk of a heart attack. always monitor your BP as recommended by the doctor.
3. Cutting off smoking/tobacco: one of the most important risk factors that continue to be a risk factor for giving rise to heart disease. it damages your arteries and leads to the deposition of fatty material that narrows the artery, which can cause a heart arrest.
4. Healthy weight maintenance: Being overweight or obese can be linked to many other heart disease factors such as high cholesterol, high BP, and diabetes.
5. Leading a stress-free life: stress can be a major cause of concern for a heart stoppage. Celebrities such as Siddhart Shukla, KK, Raju Shrivastava, and including many politicians died because of a heart attack.try doing de-stress relaxation techniques such as meditation and yoga.
6. Daily exercises: try adding at least 40 minutes of physical exercise to your daily routine to remain fit and active.
