He was glad to celebrate his birthday on this massive platform like IFFI. IFFI, a great and huge platform to showcase movies in Asia, celebrated Kartik’s birthday by cutting a cake. IFFI has chosen Kartik Aryan to headline the inauguration ceremony of IFFI.
Kartik said, “It is a matter of great pride for me to be on a big prestigious platform like IFFI”. Kartik starts off the star-studded opening ceremony of the 53rd IFFI when he said that cinema was all about “Entertainment, Entertainment, and Entertainment”

IFFI, International Film Festival of India is a big platform for filmmakers and artists to showcase their talent through movies. The festival is one of the most significant festivals in Asia. It’s conducted by the National Film Development Corporation of India under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the regime of the state. Every year various films get nominated for this festival.

Kartik Aryan is an Indian Film actor. He started his acting career with Luv Ranjan’s buddy film “Pyaar ka Punchnama” in 2011. But his “Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety” in 2018 made his career bloom. After that, we saw him in movies like Luka Chupi, Pati Patni Aur vo, and Guest in London. He also gave Bollywood a historic blockbuster movie Bhool Bhulaiya 2.
Kartik Aryan sets the IFFI stage on fire
Kartik was selected for the inauguration ceremony at the 53rd edition of IFFI in Goa. He stunned everyone with his stage performance on some of his iconic songs like Bom Diggy Diggy and Dil Chori from Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety, Dheeme Dheeme from Pati Patni Aur Vo, and a title track of Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Kaala Jaadu from his upcoming film Freddy.

A-lister celebs like Sara Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan, Varun Dhawan, Mrunaal Thakur, and Manoj Bajpayee were also a part of the ceremony. While he was talking about performing at IFFI he says, “It was such an honor to take the stage at a prestigious event like IFFI. It was really exciting to perform live on Kaaka Jaadu, BB2’s title track, and some of my other chartbusters.
There is always this adrenaline rush in performing live and I love that. I have had an incredible year, which I am so grateful for. This was the perfect way to usher in my birthday”.
Kartik Aryan may have borrowed an iconic line from the award-winning movie of Vidhya Balan, “The Dirty Picture” but hundreds of movie enthusiasts gave their approval to this in cherishing noise. Kartik said, “I am so excited to perform at the opening ceremony of IFFI. It’s been a long time since I have performed for such a full house. It’s wonderful to see so many people who love cinema under one roof… I want to love every moment of my life celebrating cinema and am hungry for some good work”
