The polygraph test of Aftab was conducted for two days. On November 26, the accused Aftab was produced in the Delhi court, as his custody was ending today. The court has sentenced him to 14 days of judicial custody. On Thursday, Aftab was taken to the Forensic Science Laboratory, Rohini (FSL).
As per the information, a list of 50 questions by forensic experts is likely to be asked to Atab to untangle the sequence of events that led to Shraddha’s murder. After the polygraph test, the Delhi police are going to conduct the Narco test.

Why is the polygraphy test being conducted?
The main accused in the Shraddha murder case, Aftab, contradicted his statements during the interrogation to mislead the police investigation.
A head of the psychological department said that a polygraph is a non-invasive technique that is used for revealing hidden information from criminals. It’s a physical method that takes place at the FSL department, and then a narcotics test is conducted to access and reveal the confined information.
The procedure of the Polygraph and Narco test
Consent of the subject for the polygraph test in front of the court.
After the consent of the subject, Investigating officer conducts a pre-test interview of the subject.
After which a polygraph is conducted.
The subject then goes under a medical test (blood and cardiac parameters)
After receiving a fitness certificate a narco test is conducted in the operation theatre.
When the Narco test is conducted a medical team including forensic psychologists and experts will be there during the videography.
