- Being a crucial department that aids for the economic growth and high revenue generation for our economy, a total of 13,700 crores has been allotted in the budget session that took place on 1st February for the ongoing fiscal year 2022.
Space and technology are crucial departments like the Education Department, Agriculture Department, Taxation Department, Healthcare and Hospitality Department, Media and Communication Department, Food Sector, Electricity, Water Supply Department, etc.
The list continues to be endless. The advancements in each of these departments are of utmost importance as they are the pillars that could aid our nation’s growth and upliftment.
Without the support and upgrades of new creation in these departments, the survival of our humanity is challenging and at a high stake compared to the other highly technologically advanced nations like Russia, China, and the USA.
Our nation has, over a period, undergone significant changes, be it in any sector. Still, the most advantageous state for the country has been when the technological advancements in the science and space sector took a significant turnover.
With now and then, new inventions taking place have wholly revolutionized our nation’s ordinary image. Space and technology no doubt has already uplifted the image of our underdeveloped country to an advancing and every changing revolutionized nation.

The main reasons the budget plays an important role are solely dependent upon the investments needed to be about a revolutionary change in the functioning of our nation in different departments.
The budget session mainly gives the field experts clarity to where and how the budget allocated to their sector needs to be divided to aim towards the judicious utilization of the funds, mainly given for the department and the nation; both the processes are interdependent in one another.
The latest budget session had a list of funding options for different departments, mainly focusing on the key ones, including the Space and Technology Department.
As per updates and reports from the sources, it is believed that India is preparing itself for the maiden human space flight for which a considerable amount has been allocated to ensure that everything is in place and the revolutionary transformation and up-gradation that the world is aiming for is met with time.
The given amount for the department of Space has also witnessed an increase of Rs 1058 crore over the revised estimated amount for allocation.
The allotted budget for the Space Department is expected to show great results over a few years by introducing new advancements in the world that could help our nation compete at the forefront amongst the already rising and highly developed ones.
