About the Former Punjab CM:
Parkash Singh Badal, Shiromani Akali Dal veteran, went on to serve five times as the Chief Minister of Punjab although he had harbored the dream of becoming a patwari. In fact, he was the only person to have secured the position of Chief Minister back-to- back in 2007 and 2012 Assembly elections. He not only holds the record for being the oldest Chief Minister in 2012 but also became the youngest Chief Minister in the year 1970. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi once referred to him as India’s Nelson Mandela.
Throughout his entire professional life, he made a number of significant contributions to the wellbeing and security of farmers and underprivileged groups in society. He was a key player in the Green Revolution, which made Punjab one of India’s most wealthy agricultural states.
During his term in office, he also started a number of development projects in the areas of infrastructure, health, and education. Thus people in Punjab and India revere and admire Parkash Singh Badal for his contributions to the development, political discourse, and peace of Punjab.
His departure marked the end of a political era in which he participated in practically every movement and choice made in the years following Independence.

What is Bronchial Asthma:
Bronchial asthma, commonly referred to as asthma is a respiratory illness that can make “breathing difficult” because it causes the airways to constrict, swell, and possibly create excess mucus in reaction to allergen contact. It may cause shortness of breath, chest tightness or pain, trouble sleeping, wheezing, coughing, and other respiratory symptoms according to Dr. Shrey Srivastav of Sharda Hospital. Episodes of coughing or wheezing can be made worse by respiratory illnesses, such as the flu.
Bronchial Asthma may be triggered by a number of factors such as, Smoking, air pollution, toxins, extreme changes in temperature, food additives, emotional stress, etc.
Medical intervention is advised by experts as a form of treatment. Asthma is often a disease that is identified in childhood, although it may worsen as people become older because they are more susceptible to chest infections and have lower immune systems. A severe episode of bronchial asthma may be lethal in such circumstances. Therefore, it is crucial for them to have routine check-ups and to never disregard symptoms.
