The battle of the election 2022 in Uttar Pradesh is scheduled from February 10 to March 7, 2022, to elect 403 members in seven phases of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The votes will be counted, and the results will announce on March 10, 2022.
The upcoming phase with the polling of 58 assembly seats widely spread in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh West in Kairana, Thana Bhawan, Shamli, Budhana, Charthawal, Muzaffarnagar, khatuali, Meerapur, Purqazi, Meerapur, Siwalkhas, Sardhana, Hastinapur, Kithore, Meerut Cantt., Meerut, Meerut South, Chhaprauli, Baraut, Baghpat, Loni, Muradnagar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Modi Nagar, Dhaulana, Hapur, Garhmukteshwar, Noida, Dadri, Jewar, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr, Syana, Anupshahr, Dubai, Shikarpur, Khurja, Khair, Barauli, Atrauli, Chharra, Koil, Aligarh, Iglas, ChhataMant, Goverdhan, Mathura, Baldev, Etmadpur, Agra Cantt. Agra South, Agra North, Agra Rural, Fatehpur Sikri, Kheragarh, Fatehabad, Bah.
The first phase, Campaigning of the UP assembly election 2022, ended on Tuesday, February 8, at 6 pm. This phase covers the Jat-dominant belt of western UP.
Only the virtual model of the campaign was allowed; Political Parties were forced in the first phase due to the ban on roadshows and physical rallies because of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), door-to-door campaigning is allowed in the assembly constituencies going to the polls on Thursday. While the primary contest is between BJP and SP-RLD, some seats were influenced by BSP in the first phase.
Under the leadership of the general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the congress party has generated interest, as seen in roadshows and door-to-door campaigning.
In the first phase of the Ballot, Suresh Rana, Atul Garg, Shrikant Sharma, Sandeep Singh, Anil Sharma, Kapil Agarwal, Dinesh Khatik, Dr. G S Dharmesh, and Chaudhary Laxmi Narain will decide the fate of nine ongoing ministers.
The battle will be between Pankaj Singh, Suresh Rana, Mriganka Singh, Sandeep Singh (grandson of late Kalyan Singh), Shrikant Sharma, Ahmad Hameed, and Kapil Dev Aggarwal. The promises and duties they will follow up already appealed to the people.

The poll will be held between 7 am and 6 pm. Since this is a covid time, the voting will be saved using COVID-19 safety protocols and the guidelines as issued by the Election Commission from time to time.
While voters should also adhere to the covid 19 protocols (are required to wear masks, maintain social distance and use sanitizer while voting,) the election officials will also be given a COVID-19 kit to conduct the election smoothly.
All persons will be thermal scanned before voting, allowing them to enter the EVM room. The election commission may reserve the last one hour of the polling for COVID favorable voters.
Last election: In the 2017 elections, the BJP had bagged 53 seats out of 58, while the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party had got two seats each.
