“His injuries were most likely incurred from an unwitnessed fall,” the statement of the medical examiner revealed. “The manner of death is an accident.”
Actor and comedian Bob Saget was found dead in a hotel in Orlando, Florida. According to the authorities, Bob accidentally hit on something, didn’t realize the severity of the pain, went to sleep, and died. The actor’s family first announced the statement.
Saget’s death was a massive shock for his fans and colleagues. His family said they were overwhelmed and comforted by “the incredible outpouring of love from Bob’s fans.”
An autopsy report released later on Thursday showed that Saget had a fracture at the base of his skull, fractures around his eye sockets, bleeding between the brain and tissue covering the brain, as well as bruises to the brain. Reports revealed that Saget was Covid19 positive but had no visible signs of respiratory issues. The statement from Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany in Orlando said that there weren’t any illicit drugs or toxins used in Saget’s body.
The 65-year-old entertainer had stayed in a hotel at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. He didn’t check out from the hotel, the hotel security officer became suspicious, he entered the room and found the actor’s body, the staff then called 911.
One day before his death, the performer made an appearance at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., near Jacksonville, as part of his stand-up comedy tour.
Saget played the character of Danny Tanner, the widowed man, and father of three girls, and his struggles to raise them. The sitcom was Fullhouse; it ran for eight seasons on ABC from 1987-to 1995. Netflix had aired a sequel focusing on one of Danny’s daughters, DJ Tanner, which ran from 2016-to 2020.
He had gained popularity amongst young audiences, too, as he was the narrator of the Hit show, How I met your mother. Saget was a host of America’s Funniest Home Videos and toured the country before his death.
He had also authored a book called Get Dirty Daddy, in which he talked about the connection between humor and pain. He had also shared insights about his life, the death of his beloved ones, and his teacher’s suggestion on making people laugh.
His last Instagram Post read, “I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville,” “Really nice audience. Lots of positivity. Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences.”
The comedian added, “I had no idea I did a two-hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it.”
He is admired by millions of people across and is an icon in the Entertainment fame. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his daughters Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29, who he shares with his ex-wife Sherri Kramer.
