Voter Turnout So Far
UP Election:
In Uttar Pradesh, voting for the second phase of elections is underway. According to the Vidhan Sabha general election statement, the average voter turnout in Uttar Pradesh until 9 a.m. in the second phase of polling was 9.45 percent.Â
 Two crore voters will decide the destiny of 586 candidates in this round. Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Amroha, Budaun, Bareilly, and Shahjahanpur are nine assembly constituencies.Â
 The incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 38 of the 55 seats in the 2017 UP Elections, followed by the Samajwadi Party (SP) with 13, the Congress with two, and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) with two. SP leader Azam Khan (Rampur) and state ministers Baldev Singh Aulakh (Bilaspur) and Suresh Khanna are among the prominent candidates fighting the second phase of polls on Monday (Bilaspur).Â
On February 10, the first phase of assembly elections for 58 assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh saw a voter turnout of over 60%.Â
