There is a big update for WhatsApp users. According to the latest report, the instant messaging app is working on a new feature, under which users will get the facility to set cover photos in their profile. At present, you only get the facility to put a profile photo. To a large extent, this feature can remind you of Facebook. The feature is currently being tested.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the company is working on a new way to manage the WhatsApp catalog. “WhatsApp is now working on another feature for WhatsApp Business accounts: the ability to set a cover photo: which will be available in a future update,” the report said. However, this feature will be limited to the users of the Business app only.
Media reports say that the WhatsApp Business app beta testers will see some changes when the feature is enabled. Users will find an additional camera button under Business Settings. The new camera button lets users add cover photos to their profiles. According to the report, “A camera button is added to the business settings. With this button, you can select a photo to apply on the cover or take a new photo.”
WhatsApp is planning to launch the feature for WhatsApp Business for both iOS and Android. When any users visit the profile of a Business user, they will see the cover photo and the profile photo. This will help in the better display of your business to the users.
