Honda Motorcycle and Scooter, India (MSI) have launched their new product in India- The Dio 125, a sturdy and sporty-looking scooter in India, today. Customers can choose from the two variants offered by the company.

Dio 125 will be available in a Standard variant and a Smart variant. Both models will be priced at INR 83,400 and INR 91,300 respectively. The price does not include additional prices like tax, registration etc. charges.
Automotive design of Dio 125
Honda MSI has focused on giving its new product a sporty look that looks sturdy and stylish. The front of the scooter supports an uplifted lamp light that gives a wide range of vision at night. Coming up the headlight has an edgy look which makes it look more kicky.
It also has a dual outlet muffler that can support its sporty feel and give a much better performance than a single outlet muffler.

Other attractive designs include split grab rails for a better hold and alloy wheels that have wave disk brakes installed in them. Dual colours on the body of the vehicle with a new logo that is visually appealing make the vehicle a visual feast for people looking to buy a scooter.
The 125cc engine vehicle also has the globally popular Honda Smart Key that makes the driving experience more enjoyable and convenient.

Honda has made its vehicle smarter by providing a Honda Smart Key with the vehicle. Features of the smart key include-

- Smart Find: The key has an answer-back button in the key, pressing which all four winkers of the scooter will turn on to blink twice and make a noise so that the owner can easily locate their vehicle.
- Smart Unlock: There is no need for a physical key to lock or unlock the scooter. It is designed as such to detect the smart key when it is within reach. If there is no action in under 20 seconds after the vehicle gets unlocked, then it automatically gets locked.
- Smart Start: The driver can also start their vehicle without inserting the key. The smart key needs to be within a range of 2 metres and the smart Loc Mod switch needs to be turned to start the vehicle. Similarly other activities such as opening the seat, fuel cap or handle of the vehicle can also be done.
- Smart Safe: The smart key also possesses anti-theft technology. For the security of the vehicle, Dio 125 has a SMART ECU installed in it. It acts as a security device by setting up an electronic unique ID between the ECU and smart Key. No other key can unlock the vehicle and start the ignition apart from the ECU recognised and detected key. This is an Immobiliser system which can be activated only by having a secure connection with the smart key.

Honda MSI uses Honda Enhanced Smart Power technology in Dio 125 that helps to give a silent start to the vehicle with minimum friction of the wheels. The Vehicle is a feast for the eyes as well as the driving experience.
Yogesh Mathur, Honda’s sales and marketing director said in the press conference, “With our Dio 125, we are inviting riders to elevate their passion for riding and embark on a thrilling journey like never before.”
