As the elections are moving ahead with time, the political temperature in the state of Uttar Pradesh tends to rise with the same; while everyone is gearing up for the last two phases of the Assembly elections 2022, the people of Uttar Pradesh are less very much excited that who will win the bumper prize of UP and which government will come on with their said promises for the people.
The people of Uttar Pradesh are more often to see a tussle between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party. In contrast, the others, such as Bahujan Samaj Party, are considered as the substitute player if, in any case, coalition governance permits the situation.
While we saw that there are more inclined towards the words of Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi Party, their behaviour towards other parties is relentless and straightforward for similar reasons.
Talking to the people of Basti, a constituency that came in the fifth phase of the assembly elections, they told our reporters that “they want changes; they are fed up with the lies that Bharatiya Janata Party says.” Their gesture towards the BJP was not favourable for the party, and thus, their win in that constituency is almost impossible.
The people in the state are very much indefinite to calculate towards any party. As the constituencies are divided very broadly among the areas, the people are also divided among this constituency and the party.
They do not have a perspective view of any developmental project; it is just that in Uttar Pradesh, any leader’s verbal communication matters a lot and how efficient he is in delivering the speech to the people of the state.
The voters do not see how much work any government is procuring; all they see is the basic need of the people are fulfilled on their behalf or not. Because every person across India always considers the first five elements of livelihood, it takes move upwards towards any other development.
While the political parties enjoy the scenario watching it from their air-conditioned office, the state’s people get rippled over these political parties. They fight over the win of the parties and not for the development of the state of UP.
These factors add to the slow growth of Uttar Pradesh’s shape because the people’s mindset is still set in an era where the basic needs were the only requirement for a person to vote for any political party or their candidate.
The allegations on Akhilesh
These days, while the elections were continued, the political parties at UP took some derogatory statements over the opposition. This happened either directly or indirectly, irrelevant of the people, place, or any other aspect.
Amidst the election fever, there were times when the Samajwadi Party and its president Akhilesh Yadav were targeted directly and indirectly for his tenure of the government.
Recently, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister; Shivraj Chouhan on Monday said that “SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was today’s Aurangzeb as, like the Mughal ruler, Akhilesh too has shut down his father and snatched the reins of power.” This statement of Chouhan signifies his outrage towards Akhilesh Yadav and not for the Samajwadi Party.
Coming back to PM Narendra Modi, he clearly out stakes that these people (Akhilesh Yadav) are the dynasts of this era. They do not deserve the seat as they misuse the opportunity to serve the nation through good governance.
Talking about the live updates of the UP-Assembly elections, the polls are about to end with its last two phases left for polling. The results would be declared on March 10, also deciding the fate and virtue of the state of Uttar Pradesh while the political parties wait for this day.
