Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the head of the Punjab Congress Committee, claimed on Saturday that an IndiGo flight from Chandigarh to Jaipur took off without its air conditioners on and passengers were given tissues to wipe away their perspiration.
Congressman Amarinder Singh Raja Warring posted a tweet on X, where he included a clip of a flight attendant handing out tissues to passengers so they may wipe away their sweat.
The incident occurred on IndiGo aircraft 6E7261 on August 5.
Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the head of the Punjab Congress Committee, revealed his that this was one of the most horrifying experiences while travelling from Chandigarh to Jaipur on an IndiGo aircraft 6E7261 on Saturday. According to him, the 90 minutes of waiting inside the plane without air conditioning were dreadful for the passengers.
The Congress leader bemoaned it, claiming that after forcing passengers to wait in line for roughly 10-15 minutes in the sweltering heat, the flight took off without the ACs on.
He stated that the ACs were turned off from takeoff till landing, making all of the passengers “suffer” the entire trip. While they were in the air, nobody brought up the significant issue. Tissue papers were generously given to passengers by the air hostess to wipe off their sweat.
Passengers were seen fanning themselves with tissues and papers in the footage.
The IndiGo Airline Apologised-
As part of its response, IndiGo said it would be investigating the situation with its own employees.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience the passengers faced on their most recent trip with them. The airline stated that they were looking into this with their internal staff and also reaching out to all of their customers regarding their experience.

Prior to boarding the flight, passengers had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes in the sweltering heat. When they boarded, they found that the air conditioning wasn’t working.
The flight took off and continued its voyage despite the pain because it lacked a cooling system. Passengers were forced to suffer the heat the whole flight, and the airline did nothing to address or acknowledge the problem. Air hostesses gave passengers tissue papers to wipe off their sweat in an effort to lessen the discomfort.
There were three technical issues on IndiGo flights that day, including this one. Due to an engine issue, a flight bound for Delhi had to make an emergency landing at Patna airport, and an IndiGo flight headed for Ranchi had to make a return trip to Delhi airport.
The uncomfortable experience faced by IndiGo passengers due to a malfunctioning air conditioning system highlights the importance of passenger safety, effective communication, and maintaining high standards in the airline industry. Consequently, airlines must prioritize safety, passenger comfort and well-being, and take proactive measures to prevent such incidents. By doing so, they can ensure that air travel remains a positive and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
