The party of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the largest state with a huge number of seats on Thursday of the state assembly vote that can predict the ultimate future of 2024.
According to the Election Commission of India, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won more than 270 seats out of 403 in Uttar Pradesh.
Even the iconic win in the northern state has been welcomed despite much-criticized handling of government on Covid-19, lack of jobs, and farmer protests. The BJP party has already predicted their win because of policies.
For many years, Congress ruled Uttar Pradesh with a stronghold but this time the result is negative.
“Humbly accept the people’s verdict,” senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, mentioned on Twitter.
The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has secured their win in Manipur, Goa, and Uttarakhand, while AAP, the Aam Admi Party secured control over Punjab which was shaken by the farmer protest for long months against the laws passed by the Modi government. They secured more than 90 out of 117 seats.
Sahoo said that the unmatched sweep of AAP in a full-fledged northern state makes them a national identity from a city-based party. He also added that from a political start-up in less than 8 years which began in Delhi city, they came a long way.
Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is now ready to serve his duty after returning to power again.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi showered appreciation for Adityanath’s achievement and proposed that the victory in Uttar Pradesh will pave the way for the win of BJP in 2024. He also showed his appreciation and respect for his part workers.
It is an early festival for the party as it secured a great number of seats in four states. According to him, the votes have now increased in Goa, Manipur, and Uttar Prades even they were in control. The party has now retained power in Uttarkhand as well.
Before, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, mentioned in his victory speech which had hailed PM Modi saying that the BJP’s “double engine” government given an idea of security for the people in the last five years and that their party had worked for the development of the state.
