An investigation has been launched into the case after a couple has been found dead at their home in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Young people found the couple hanging at their homes in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday morning.
Rahul Kushwaha (33), a resident of Balmiki Nagar in Bilhaur, and his wife Neelam (28) of Hardoi district’s Bilgram region have been identified as the victims. Both had been married for nine years.
A Couple Have Been Found Dead.
The couple from Bilhaur’s Murad Nagar neighbourhood did not leave their residence for a long time on Monday morning. Suspicious, the neighbours peered into the home, only to discover Rahul and Neelam hanging from a ladder inside the house from the noose of a saree.
Officers Bilhaur Dhanesh Prasad and Rajesh Kumar came to the scene with a squad to take both bodies into custody and send them for a post-mortem examination. The neighbours called the police.
The experiment has begun.
The deceased’s relatives, including Rahul’s mother, Sushma, are unsure of the couple’s cause of death.
According to India Today, the SP of Kanpur’s outside district said, “We haven’t discovered any suicide notes around the location.” However, it seems that the pair used to live alone and were concerned about not having a child after being married for nine years, which might have been a factor in their suicide.
The actual cause of death, however, has yet to be determined.
