The BJP is retaining UP and Promod Swant is trailing by 400 votes from Sanquelim. In Up, the party gained a massive lead in the first 2 hours in the north. 2022 has gained so much popularity in UP, that it will be a very tough fight for the Samajwadi Party.
Meanwhile, the goa Chief minister is now trailing by 400 votes from his constituency, indicating that the BJP is back in Goa, moving ahead of 18 seats, and counting is still in progress. While with caste politics playing a major role in Uttar Pradesh, allies with the Jat community and also with the backward caste, the Congress and Mayawati’s BSP will have to face challenges.
The UP 2022 assembly election will decide and also set the challenges for the 2024 Lok Sabha election. Moreover, the exit poll suggests that the BJP will be able to win and cross the mark of 200 in the 403-member assembly in UP, while the BJP is trailing in all 6 seats out of 8 in the Lakhimpur Kheri constituencies and the Samajwadi Party is leading in 2 seats.
At the Gola seat in Uttar Pradesh, BJP’s Arvind Giri secured 17460 votes, while Vinay Tiwari secured 9488 votes. In Goa, the BJP is gaining, but as they are closer to their majority, the counting of the 40-member Goa assembly starts at 8 am today. While the BJP and Congress have given 40 candidates each, the Aam Admi Party has given 39 candidates.
In the 2017 election, Congress emerged as one of the single laBJPrgest parties, winning 17 seats, but the BJP was far ahead at that time. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav ally Omprakash Rajbhar leads with 14700 seats in Zahoor Bada in UP, while Azam Khan leads in Rampur.
As a result, Deputy CM Keshav Maury is trailing by 2,144 votes in Sirathu seats, with 38.9 percent of the vote. According to an ANI report in UP, BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh said, “People have already rejected dynastic politics and have voted for development.” While we never expected the BSP to perform so poorly, the Samajwadi Party has fought very well.” So, the BJP has a great seat in Up.
