In the last 24 hours, India reported 1,581 new coronavirus cases, bringing the overall number of COVID-19 cases to 4,30,10,922. According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, the number of active cases has dropped to 23,913 today.Â
The active cases comprise 0.06 per cent of the total infections. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.74 per cent, it showed.Â

According to ministry statistics updated at 9 a.m., the Covid-19 number of deaths has risen to 5,16,510, with 31 daily fatalities.Â
The number of individuals who have recovered from the disease has risen to 4,24,67,774, with a 1.20 percent case fatality rate.Â
A total of 3,84,499 Covid-19 tests have been performed in the previous 24 hours. Over 78.30 crore (78,30,45,157) cumulative tests have been conducted in India so far.Â
India’s Vaccination Report
Till now, more than 183.52 crore (1,83,52,25,060) vaccine doses have been given to States/UTs from the Govt. Of India (free of cost channel) and from direct state procurement category. Â
More than 17.21 crore unutilized Covid vaccine doses are available to be injected still there with the States/UTs.Â
Furthermore, as of 7 a.m. today, India’s Covid-19 immunization coverage had surpassed 181.24 crore (1,81,24,97,303). This was accomplished by a total of 2,14,03,116 sessions. Â
