The ICC ODI Test Rankings were released on Wednesday. Ravindra Jadeja reclaimed his spot from the West Indies’ Jason Holder as the top player in the ICC ODI Test Rankings. Jadega rose to the top after his 175 not out and nine wickets in the first test match held against Sri Lanka. The match took place in Mohali earlier this March.Â
Holder took his place last week but the players have yet again swapped their positions in the ranking with Jadeja having 385 rating points.Â
Ravichandran Ashwin holds the second position in the bowler’s chart and is third among all-rounders. Jasprit Bumrah who hopped up six spots previous week, stays stable with the 4th position.
Rohit Sharma, India’s skipper, the country’s top-rank batter, fell one spot down to the 7th rank in the batter’s list. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant remained static on 9th and 10th position respectively.Â
Within the Pakistan team, their skipper Babar Azam jumped up three spots. After his remarkable performance against Australia during the second test series in Karachi, he moved up to No. 5 in the rankings chart.Â
Mohammad Rizwan and Usman Khawaja, also took a massive leap, after being the star performers in the match against Australia. Rizwan has come up 6 spots to join David Warner at 11th position. He was 104 not out in the second innings helping him move up the chart. Khawaja scored 160 runs off44 balls in Karachi. He got to the 13th position by moving up 11 spots.Â
