“The world is going through a meal disaster now; the meal inventory of the arena is getting empty. Even the United States President raised the equal issue. I recommended that if WHO permits, I can deliver meals inventory from tomorrow, “PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that he has talked to Joe Biden about the ongoing food crisis all over the world and has offered to supply India’s food stock to the world if the World Trade Organization (WTO) permits him to do so.
Due to the ongoing conflict with Ukraine, food stocks are dwindling in different parts of the world, PM Modi said. World markets are facing problems as nobody is getting what they want. Oil, petrol, and fertilizer prices are increasing, and the available doors are closing.
Following the Ukraine-Russia crisis, the world market should be protected by security measures. The PM said “The world is facing a real crisis now; the meal inventory of the arena is getting empty. Even US President Joe Biden raised the issue of equality. I recommended that if WHO permits, I can deliver meal inventory starting tomorrow.” Prime Minister Modi stated.
We have enough food for our people, and it seems that our farmers have made arrangements to help feed the world. Even so, we cannot go against the law of the world and work according to it, so we have to wait for WHO to permit so that we can start the food supply, “the PM said.
“Providing food grains to millions of people around the world for a long period will surely perplex people around the globe,” he added.
On the occasion of Goddess Annapurna, the reigning deity of Lueva Patels, PM Modi did a virtual ground-breaking ceremony for an upcoming hospital in Adalaj Village in Gujrat. PM Modi said that after a long year of waiting, they have finally gotten their Goddess Annapurna idol back, which was stolen many decades ago from Canada and installed back in Kashi.
He also shared his views on the ongoing fight against malnutrition and said, “It’s not the lack of food but a lack of knowledge about the right food that is causing malnutrition.” PM Modi urged the President of Annapurna Dham, Narhari Amin, who is also a member of the Rajya Sabha, to make the masses aware of the nutritional value.
