With the BJP’s eight years in power at the Centre coming to an end today, the party is planning a massive celebration until the second week of June.
According to party leaders, the festivities will be centred on “service, good government, and the care of the underprivileged,” according to party leaders.
From May 30 to June 14, all ministers in the BJP-led central and state governments and the party’s elected members will take part in a large public outreach drive to commemorate the Modi government’s seventh anniversary.
The party will prioritise impoverished people’s welfare, good governance, and the government’s public service.
Arun Singh, the BJP General Secretary, addressed a news conference, hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a dependable, popular, persistent, sacrificial, and ascetic leader who has the support of the whole country.
Mr Singh explained that every day of the campaign was dedicated to farmers, women, scheduled caste groups, organised tribal groups, and minorities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on May 30 that he would hand out checks to children who were orphaned as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as reveal a unique scholarship for them.
PM Modi will address the nation from Ridge Maidan in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, as part of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Program.
Singh went on to say, “The Modi government follows the Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas principles. As a result, there is no discrimination among persons in our public-interest programmes.”
The state-level celebratory events would include Delhi BJP officials participating in a 75-hour public outreach campaign in June to honour the eight years of the Narendra Modi government.
This involves raising awareness about the Modi government’s accomplishments, meeting with beneficiaries of different initiatives, and having lunch with local influencers, among other things. On World Environment Day, June 5, BJP officials will also give people seedlings and pots.
Meanwhile, from May 30 to June 15, the party’s Uttar Pradesh chapter has scheduled events.
