All India mourns the sudden death of musician KK. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her grief on Twitter. He expressed his condolences to the family of the artist. He also said that the song will be given a salute to the late Bollywood artist. The Chief Minister also said that his administration was working to hand over the body of the artist from Kolkata to his family.
KK alias Krishnakumar Kunnath came to attend a college function in Kolkata. After returning to the hotel after the ceremony, he got a little sick. He was pronounced dead at the CMRI hospital.
KK did two consecutive shows in Kolkata last Monday. It is also known that he was very excited when he came to do the show. During the show on Nazrul Mancha on Tuesday night, KK suddenly fell ill. After returning to the hotel, he was taken to the hospital. Doctors declared the famous musician dead there. He was 53 years old. According to sources, the singer asked to turn off the spotlights during the ceremony. He also rested backstage during the break. From there he went back to the hotel.
KK has sung in Hindi, Tamil, Canadian, Marathi, and several Indian languages. The body will be taken to Rabindra Sadan after an autopsy on Wednesday. The wife and children have already reached Kolkata.
