On Tuesday, taking twitter to inform the citizens of India, the Ministry of Railways said southern railways become the first zone to promote India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, it is the first private train to provide this registered service under the ‘Bharat Gaurav’ scheme.
The Indian Railway with the first service of departing from Coimbatore North railway station in Tamil Nadu to Sainagar in Shirdi, Maharashtra will commence this month onwards.
In 2021 the theme of Bharat Gaurav trains had been introduced, where our dense culture which is slightly getting forgotten with the passage of time will be displayed.
The Private train will stop at multiple locations including Tirupur, Erode, Salem Jolarpet, Bengaluru Yelahanka, Dharmavaram, Mantralayam Road (5-hour halt), and Wadi before arriving in Shirdi.
According to an official statement, the prices are comparable to standard Indian Railways train ticket prices and include unique VIP Darshan at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple.
Tourists would be offered an all-inclusive package under the Bharat Gaurav plan, which includes rail travel, hotel accommodations, sightseeing arrangements, visits to historical or heritage sites, and tour guides.
