In around three to six months, there have been a lot of mass shootings that have happened in the US and most of the numbers are very high in such a way that it is shocking for people to even see.
According to the gun violence achieve GVA, the number of shootings in 2022 will be much higher than in previous years, which is not a good sign.
Recently, a mass shooting happened in the city of the US at Chicago’s Highland Park on Monday. According to GVA, there have been around 300 plus mass shootings that have taken place in the US.Â
There have been 15 mass shootings that have happened, including the park mass shooting this year and around 10 to 11 mass shootings that have happened alone on weekends.
As per the GVA data report, around 10,000 plus people have lost their lives in these shootings all over the nation. This data includes accidental killings and also intentional killings, but not the suicides that people committees.
The GVA has also defined a mass shooting as a situation where more than two people lose their lives. In the year 2022, there are many incidents that have taken place.
Also, the Fobes has also shown their reports saying the incidents of this year2022 are very shocking and record breaking .
These attacks include the attack on an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas in which around 10 to 19 children and teachers lost their lives, and it was considered the country’s most affected and deadliest shooting incident this year.
In January, around 5 to 6 people were killed during a welfare check in Wisconsin.
In the month of April, around six people were killed in a mass shooting in a night club in downtown Sacramento, California.
In the month of May, a white boy was a gunman and shot 10 people at a supermarket in the city of New York.
In the same month, a teenage boy and two teachers were killed because a teenage gunman went on shooting continuously at an elementary school in Texas.
In the month of June, at the start of the month, only one mass shooting had happened, where around three to four people were killed in the hospital by a man.
When a gunman opened fire openly in public during the US Independence Day parade in July, five to six people were killed and many others were injured, including innocent children.
