Teesta Setalvad has also denied being a part of any “plot” to topple the Gujarat administration at the time or to seek to frame any individuals while pursuing justice for the victims of the state’s 2002 Gujarat Riots sectarian violence.
During the hearing of her bail request in a municipal court in Ahmedabad, her attorney presented the reasons disputing all charges brought by the State government formed Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is looking into the issue.
The case has been continued for hearing on July 20 by the court. Teesta Setalvad rejects accusations.
