Google has been slowing down the hiring for a while now but they are taking one step further by fully stopping the hiring for 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks of a freeze on hiring, google will slow down the hiring for the whole remaining year.
The company hired around 10,000 people in Q2 alone and they will disclose the data on the 26th of July.
The freeze on hiring was done to review the headcount of the employees needed for the company. This time will help the company to see how many people are required and what staff is best where.
