A further incident of attack on a teacher has come to light in Jammu. Female school teacher Rajni Bala from Jammu and Kashmir was shot dead by terrorists in the Kulgam of the Kashmir region on tuesday.
Rajni Bala, A 36-year-old teacher from the Jammu region, was shot dead by terrorists at the school where she worked as a government teacher. She used to travel to Kulgam daily to educate needy Kashmiri children.
According to the police
Rajni Bala was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctor declared the teacher was dead. The police of Kashmir Zone says that the people involved in this terrorist crime will be identified soon and they will be arrested.
Eighteen hours later, the police got information about a criminal incident from a government high school in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam district, where two gunmen shot her dead with pistols from close range when she entered the lane.
In this horrific criminal incident, she was seriously injured by a bullet and then fell. Then another teacher took Rajni Bala to a nearby hospital. However, the teacher died in the hospital due to bullet injuries.
The past chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah described the teacher incident as ‘horrific’ my condolences go to her husband Raj Kumar, and his family. Another family is completely ruined, he said.
So far no one has asserted responsibility for the murder. In the recent cases of murder of government employees in Jammu and Kashmir, fear has been created among government employees.

The Gopalpora community and the school teacher told the news agency that the incident happened around 10 am. She was on her way to the school at the time of the attack when the terrorist opened fire on her.
As she entered the school gate, two gunmen fired from the street and shot the teacher in the head, then she collapsed at the gate. Hearing the sound of the bullet, the children of the school got scared and started crying when another teacher came down and saw Rajni got shot and she fell.
Relation of the victim said We want justice adding that the government must do something about the rise in select killings, safety will be given to government workers in Kashmir.
Current Assassination in Kashmir
On 25 may, TV actress Amrin Bhat was shot dead by terrorists outside her residence in the area of Chadoora in central Kashmir Budgam district. Her 10-year-old younger nephew was seriously injured in the attack.
A day before, a policeman was shot outside his residence in Srinagar. His 7-year-old daughter was also injured in the attack. On 13 May, a cop name called Riyaz Ahmed was killed at his residence in Pulwama.
One day before, another government employee named Rahul Bhat was gunned down by terrorists inside the local tehsildar office on 12 May. The gunman had fired at Rahul in the Tehsildar office. Office located in Central Kashmir, Budgam district.
These killings have filled the mind of the people with terror. Activists took to the street in Srinagar, Ganderbal, and south Kashmir, with the jingle “The only solution, transfer. If the government does not decide in favor within 24 hours we will opt for a mass movement, said Amit Kaul, representative of the complaining employees.
Most of them were transferred under the Prime Minister’s Relief and Rehabilitation Package.
