Veteran TV actor Surekha Sikri has passed away at the age of 75. Her manager said she died of a heart attack, a long-time ill actress. She suffered paralysis in 2018 and suffered a brain stroke in 2020.

She played the memorable role of ‘Dadi Sa’ in the famous serial ‘Balika Vadhu’, which is remembered to date. She also played another memorable role as ‘Dadi’ in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bollywood Blockbuster film ‘Badhaai Ho’ three years ago. She has also won 3 National Film Awards.
Surekha Sikri’s demise has been reported by her manager. The manager has informed the media that it is sad that Surekha Ji is no more. She died this morning at the age of 75, in great trouble after the second brain stroke. In his statement, Vivek Sidhwani said, “3-time National Award Winner, Surekha Sikri, had passed away following a cardiac arrest earlier this morning at the age of 75 when she had been suffering from complications arising from 2nd brain stroke.” He also added in his statement that her family and caregivers were by her side and asks for privacy for some time. She suffered a brain stroke last year and was discharged after a few days.
