Bollywood Superstar Ajay Devgn wants to remake his debut film Phool Aur Kaante which was released in the year 1991 and became superhit, he also believes that he can re-create his iconic split with a practice of a month.
Phool Aur Kaante is released in the year 1991 and it is an Indian Hindi-language action-romance film directed by Kuku Kohli. Its main star cast is Ajay Devgn, Madhoo, Aruna Irani, Jagdeep and Amrish Puri among others stars. It is the debut movie of Ajay Devgn, son of late stunt and action choreographer Veeru Devgn, and Madhoo, niece of actress Hema Malini. This film was a superhit and also won Devgan the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut Actor for the year 1991.

Bollywood Superstar Ajay Devgn has recently said that he wants someone to remake his debut movie Phool Aur Kaante (1991). Ajay, the actor made his onscreen movie’s debut with this movie in 1991. He also claimed that he is having potential and able to pull off that iconic split stunt on two bikes, only with a month’s practice.

He had posted a short video clip from one of his interviews and tweeted it on his tweeter account and in that video, he said that, “Phool Aur Kaante Returns has a good ring to it. What do y’all think? (Ajay asked to his fans about the remake of his debut movie Phoo aur Kante)” However, not every fans believes it would be a great idea. One user responded to Ajay’s tweeted video with, “Nope, not every film is Drishyam (Not agree with Ajay’s statement and said not every film like Drishyam got such success)” A few of his fans also suggested him about work on a sequel would be better than work on a remake.

This interview starts with Bollywood Superstar Ajay Devgn, when asked about “the remake-able film from his all films and he responds to which with, “I would like somebody to remake Phool Aur Kaante (debut movie of his career which releases in the year 1991).”
The interviewer then again asked to him that, “Yeah? Tough, it must be difficult for you to do that. The cameras used in those movies were very different in that time.” After that he was then again questioned Is it possible for him to perform that iconic split on bike. Ajay Devgn responded him by answering to his question that “I would need a little practice, mahina dedh mahina , I think so. Koshish karni padegi (According to him, he thinks that to perform that iconic stunt he need to practice for one or one and half month then he will able to re-create that stunt again),” he says.
Phool Aur Kanate movie is directed by Kuku Kholi which featured Ajay Devgn alongside Madhoo, Aruna Irani, Jagdeep and Amrish Puri. Madhoo and Ajay both made their entry in Bollywood Industry with this film that was a commercial success.

Ajay Devgn had recently seen in Abhishek Pathak’s Drishyam 2, Ajay has an interesting line up of films. His next upcoming movies are here in which he will be in the sports biographical film Maidaan, which is directed by Amit Sharma this film is represent the golden era of India in Indian football and it feature Ajay as football coach where he was playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim. This movie also stars Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, Abhinay Raj Singh and Gajraj Rao in the main role. This movie is supposed to be release for a February 2024, AR Rahman composed the music of this movie.
Ajay also directed a one more movie which titled as “Bholaa”, this is a remake of the 2019 release Tamil film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and movie title is Kaithi. This new film also features Tabu and Amala.
