CM Kiran Reddy:-
After the previous leader K Rosaiah stepped down and left for “personal reasons,” CM Kiran Reddy became the 16th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. After former CM Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy passed away in a helicopter mishap in September 2009, the Congress leadership named Rosaiah to the position.
CM Kiran Reddy, a former cricket player who entered politics, won 1989, 1999, and 2004 Assembly elections from Vayalpadu (now part of the Pileru Assembly seat). He lost to the Telugu Desam Party in the 1994 elections, but he triumphed against Pileru once more in 2009.
The four-time MLA claimed he never believed he would have to leave the Congress and pointed out his choice as the result of “wrong decisions” made by the party leadership while speaking at a news conference at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. Reddy attacked the Congress leadership, saying they believe that they are right and everyone else is wrong, even the people of India, and that they are incapable of accepting the will of the people and changing their course.
If a mistake has been committed, it should be admitted, and an effort should be made to correct it. Congress does not act in this manner. Because of the terrible decisions taken by the Congress’s high leadership, he asserted, the party is losing everywhere. According to him, they do not communicate with people. They disregard the leaders’ opinions. It is not the tale of a single state. The tale is well-known throughout the nation.
Reddy also commended the BJP leadership for making courageous choices that were in the country’s best interests as a whole. The dedication to carrying out their welfare initiatives is extremely impressive. I find motivation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenacity, enthusiasm, dedication, and resolve.
There is an ancient proverb that goes, “My king is very intelligent; he doesn’t think on his own and he doesn’t listen to anyone’s advice,” which Reddy used as an indirect dig at the leadership of the Congress.
Reddy compared the ascent of the BJP to the Congress’ collapse after 1984 and praised Modi and the other leaders of the ruling party for their dedication to the country and hard work.
According to him, the government is known for its consistency, clarity of thinking, and ability to make bold judgments.
Reddy’s enlistment in the BJP comes a day after Anil Antony, the son of former defense minister AK Antony, moved to the saffron party and criticized some of the leadership for putting the needs of “a single family” ahead of the needs of the country.
Since PM Narendra Modi was named the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) top-most-favored leader in the national context, Congress has had trouble making a name for itself. Many political commentators and saffron party officials have referred to the grand old party as a “sinking ship” that cannot even hold its flock together. (CM Kiran Reddy )
In the last few years, several prominent Congress leaders have split from the party and joined the Saffron camp or started a new political party.
Anil Antony, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Kapil Sibal, Amarinder Singh, and many others are former congressmen who switched to the BJP. (CM Kiran Reddy )
