This has resurrected ‘The Kashmir Files,’ as the incident is a blatant indication of crimes against the valley’s minority Hindu people. All those who have persisted to cast doubt on the genocide of Hindus in the valley have been left red-faced as a result of this.
So far, no one has claimed credit for the incident. The incident is believed to have been carried out by TRF, a wing of the LeT.
In this case, the police have filed a report under the relevant parts of the legislation. The investigation is ongoing, and officers are working to determine the complete circumstances surrounding this terror attack. The area has been blocked off, and searches are underway.
Terrorists shot and injured two non-local laborers in the Lajoora area on Monday afternoon in a separate incident. Patleshwar Kumar and Jako Chowdhary, both Bihar residents, were among those who were hurt.
On Monday, a CRPF jawan was murdered and another was injured in Srinagar’s Maisuma city center. The two CRPF guys who had been shot were transported to the nearest SHMS hospital. One of them was pronounced dead upon arrival, while the other is being treated.
The events are occurring at a time when the Valley is experiencing a peak tourism boom. Every day, thousands of tourists go to the Valley. On March 28, a record-breaking 90 planes landed in the Valley, largely to drop off and pick up tourists.
Last year, extremists killed a large number of non-local workers, especially from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Orissa, and West Bengal.
In the recent several months, the Kashmir Valley has seen a number of civilian fatalities as well as attacks on police officers and politicians. According to the authorities, militants from The Resistance Front have been carrying out targeted assassinations in order to undermine the region’s tranquility.
