Cook will reportedly also have a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Deirdre O’Brien, the business’s top executive for retail, told reporters that the company has paid close attention to its core values of inclusion and sustainability, noting that the 100-person staff that will be there will know 18 Indian languages. According to her, the firm has 2,500 employees in the nation and its app ecosystem has indirectly supported the creation of 10 lakh employment.
The two-story store is located in an excellent location at the corner of a large mall that also has Swarovski, and Diesel, who are Michael Kors, Kate Spade, and Michael Kors.
The store shares many features with Apple stores around the world, but the company appears to have made an effort to “Indianize” the space by incorporating regional elements, beginning with the much-discussed “kaali-peeli” the central idea on the facade that was inspired by the black and forced to leave taxis that can be seen on city streets. She stated that 4.5 lakh pieces of wood were used to decorate the ceiling walls and that the firm had particularly purchased the stone from Rajasthan for the walls within the store.
According to executives, clients may check out the devices and additionally inform themselves on how to utilize them best. The store also offers products, accessories, and services like mending electronics. Like in a typical store, there are broad wooden workstations where the goods are displayed. These desks also contain specifically constructed sensors that cause switches to open.
For the last 11 years, the business has rented out space in the Jio World Drive mall. During this time, it has successfully negotiated to prevent 22 rival firms, including Amazon, Facebook, Google, LG, Microsoft, Sony, and others, from renting space or placing advertisements nearby.
A similar store will be opened in the city of Delhi’s Saket tomorrow after the financial capital’s store launches on Tuesday. According to reports, the business would rent the store for Rs 42 lakhs per month and will also split some of the profits with the property owner.
