Premier League club Arsenal came out all guns blazing as they defeated Bournemouth 3-0. The win put them at the top of the table with 9 points and a 7-goal difference. Mikel Arteta played another unchanged side in the match and reaped excellent benefits.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard scored the opening goal inside the first 5 minutes to establish control. The lead doubled in 6 minutes when he slotted another goal assisted by Gabriel Jesus. Bournemouth played a physical side against Arsenal intended to unsettle them. However, the move turned out to be wrong as the gameplay was lacking in energy.
Bournemouth manager Scott Parker made a few changes during halftime, significantly improving their play. But it was short-lived as Arsenal’s new French signing William Saliba curled a beautiful goal to crush Bournemouth’s hopes completely.

William Saliba has been earning a lot of praise since the start of the season. It is well deserved as he continues to impress with his solid technique on the pitch. He made up for his own goal against Leicester City last week when his side won 4-2.
Gabriel Jesus is the force behind Arsenal’s success
Their newest signing, Gabriel Jesus has completely changed this Arsenal attack. Bought in for £45m, Jesus has already scored 2 goals for the club. His creative build-ups and runs inside the opposition box have elevated the club’s front line.

Gabriel Jesus scored a beautiful goal but was disallowed by VAR for being marginally offside. His other attempt was denied by a good save from Travers. The rest of the match went smoothly for the gunner as Bournemouth did not pose much threat.

The win marked the first time since 2004-05 that Arsenal has won their first three fixtures. It is still very early in the Premier League but 3 wins on the trot is a nice push for the club. There will be much harder matches in the weeks to come but the club has laid down a nice foundation.
Arsenal will host Fulham next week who defeated Brentford 3-2 in an entertaining match yesterday. Bournemouth on the other hand will face Liverpool at Anfield next week and will look to course-correct before it’s too late.
