AAP to try and win over Gujarat Next
After the victory in the Punjab elections, the AAP Party seems all set to begin their campaign in the state of Gujarat.  Â
The party will be launching a “Tiranga Yatra” in each district of the state starting March 19, 2022, to be led by a number of party leaders from Delhi. Â
The party chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will visit Gujarat along with Punjab CM Designate Bhagwant Mann, to boost its membership drive. Â
Gujarat’s politics has always been a bipolar affair, usually involving the BJP and Congress. But keeping in mind Congress’s recent performances, AAP is eyeing the opposition, hoping its win in Punjab, and Congress’s deteriorating performance might pave the way and help AAP emerge as a political player in the state. Â
The assembly polls in Gujarat are scheduled to occur in the month of December this year.Â
