Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, Delhi’s BJP spokesperson since 2017. On Friday, he was arrested at his residence. The FIR was filed by an Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson, Mr. Sunny Singh Ahluwalia. The FIR against Bagga was filed under several important sections of the IPC, such as 153-A (promoting hatred between different groups based on religion, race, place, etc.), 505 (anyone who makes, spreads, or spreads any statement, rumor, or report), and 506 (criminal terrorizing).Â
As soon as BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga got relieved from the Punjab Police just after the Punjab and Haryana High Court hearing, Tajinder’s father started pummeling AAP, Aam Aadmi Party chief Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, saying that “Arvind Kejriwal is scared of Tajinder.”Â
The father of Mr. Bagga also said that Mr. Kejriwal tried to get Tajinder Bagga to join AAP.Â
Preetpal Singh Bagga, Tajinder’s father, said, “We are happy that Punjab-Haryana HC directed not to take coercive action against Tajinder.” Arvind Kejriwal is scared of him as he’s exposing his wrongdoings. He also tried to persuade Tajinder to join AAP, but he didn’t. ” Â
Punjab and Haryana High Court coordinated late Saturday night that Punjab Police can’t make any coercive move against the Delhi BJP pioneer Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga till the following hearing on May 10. Justice Anoop Chitkara passed the request while hearing an appeal testing the capture warrant for Bagga given by the Mohali court.Â
Especially, Mr. Bagga had later mentioned about the behavior that the Punjab Police had jumped into his home on a huge scale and captured him “as they do it with a terrorist.”Â
