Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, said today that the Delhi lockdown had been extended for a week. Still, if the Covid case numbers continue to decline, the unlocking process will soon begin.
Kejriwal added that currently, the lockdown would take place until 5 a.m till May 31st, and the unlocking process will be prolonged.
He emphasized that the city must be cautious in its efforts to reduce the positive rate. He also stated that Delhi had fought the virus bravely even when there was an oxygen shortage and will find a solution for the current vaccine dilemma.
