The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport corporation has announced that it will deploy around 1,900 BMTC buses in the city by the end of the year. Out of 1,900 buses, 921 have been revealed to be low-floor electric buses. The buses will not start running around the city simultaneously but instead will come in the batches of 100 every month, starting from the end of July. The Indian government is focusing its efforts on building a Green Hydrogen ecosystem in the country in its journey to achieve Carbon neutrality by the year 2070.  To promote investment and interest in production, storage and other things related to green H2 the government has introduced detailed guidelines for the Production linked incentive (PLI) of Green Hydrogen.
