Sudan attacks Ethiopia, Officials from Ethiopia claimed that amid fighting in the disputed al-Fashaga region, Sudan’s military forces fired. Sudan accused Ethiopian forces of kidnaping 7 soldiers and 1 civilian, after which their vandalized bodies were found. Whereas, the Ethiopian government denies the accusation and says it’s a local rebel group responsible for this act and has promised to investigate the attack. Sudan had filed a formal complaint with the United Nations Security Council over the killings.  But Sudan thinks it’s a waste of time and has already sent army reinforcements to the disputed border region.
