The husband of one of the two teachers killed in the Texas elementary school shooting has died of an apparent heart attack. Joe Garcia, the husband of Irma Garcia, who was shot and murdered in the classroom while protecting her kids, died two days after the massacre. Taliban dismiss UNSC's call to reverse restrictions on Afghan women.

No Plan For Additional Government Borrowing to Manage Fiscal Deficit

The government is not planning on borrowing more money to manage the fiscal deficit.   The government will adhere to the borrowing target set for the current fiscal year despite lower levies on petroleum products and other items resulting in income losses.  Earlier this week, the government cut the excise tax on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and diesel by Rs 6 per litre to combat soaring fuel prices. The South Korean military said North Korea launched three ballistic missiles early Wednesday morning, hours after Biden leaves Asia.
