In the 2nd phase of the UP-assembly election, which is conducted on 14th of February Monday, the voting was recorded as 39.0 % voters’ turnout till 1 p.m. The voting takes place across 9 districts with 55 constituency seats. The voter turnout in each district was recorded as 42.32% in Saharanpur, 38.68% in Bijnor, 41.88% in Moradabad, 37.99% in Shambal. Rampur, Amroha, Badaun, Bareilly, and Shahjahanpur were recorded as 40.6%, 40.81%, 35.55%, 39.14%, and 35.34%, respectively. Voting in Muzaffarnagar came to a halt over a glitch in the EVM machine. Voting for the first phase of the assembly election comes to a halt in Muzaffarnagar in Western UP due to a glitch in Electronic Voting Machines (EVM).
