Days after BJP leader and actor Sonali Phogat was found dead in her hotel room in Goa, her nephews allege that her aide, Sudhir Pal Sangwan, tried to poison her in the past and was eying property. Sonali’s nephews, Sachin Phogat and Vikas Singhmar alleged, “Sudhir was trying to put Sonali on drugs for quite some time. He had also given her spiked pudding two months before she died. Just three days after the MLAs of the ruling govt in Jharkhand boarded buses for a day-out in the state’s Khunti, UPA legislators have once again boarded buses. This time, 31 MLAs including cabinet ministers, will be flown to Raipur or Jaipur amid alleged attempts by the BJP to poach the coalition MLAs. After the BJP’s complaint against Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren over a mining contract, the Election Commission has given their recommendations to the Governor. The strictest possible punishment is not that Hemant Soren be disqualified as an MLA but that he be debarred from contesting elections for up to five years besides being disqualified as MLA. India and China were caught in a verbal spat over the Chinese ‘research’ vessel that arrived at Hambantota Port of Sri Lanka earlier this month. After Senior Congressman and former Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad resigned from Congress, the infamous G23 held a meeting at Ghulam Nabi’s residence.
