AIIMS has collected five eyeballs of persons who died due to the infection to study the presence of coronavirus in the cornea. The R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at AIIMS is conducting a study to work out the existence of the coronavirus in several parts of the eye of the one’s who have died due to the infection; J. S. According to the latest report released by IUCN, World’s most giant living lizard- Komodo Dragon and nearly two in five sharks are on the verge of extinction. On 4th September, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) at the World Conservation Congress held at Marseille in France announces the new Red List update, which shows a record of 902 officially extinct species.  As per the Red List, in 138,374 species assessed, 38,543 (28%) of species are seemed to be at the threat of extinction. India’s Manish Narwal and Singhraj Adhana won Gold and Silver respectively in mixed 50m pistols in Tokyo Paralympics 2020  On Saturday, Indian shooters Manish Narwal won Gold, and Singhraj Adhana won Silver in mixed 50-metre pistol SH1 final in Tokyo Paralympics 2020. The event was at Asaka Shooting Range.  The 19-year-old Manish claimed the Paralympic record as he assembled 218.2 points to seal the Gold. First Quarter GDP data of April – June 2021 current financial year released by MoSPI and NSO on Tuesday shows an increase of 20.1% compared to the first quarter of 2020- 21.
