On November 15, the wildly popular game, developed by Epic Games, will shut down its local Chinese version, according to a statement released on its website. Also, from November 1, the users were prevented from registering for new accounts. The game developers Epic Games have not provided a specific reason for shutting down Fortnite in China. The tech giant Google undertakes an initiative to help delete photos of minors from the internet. Google announced that it has a tool that allows the parents and children under 18-years-old to request pictures be removed from its images tab and as thumbnails in searches. Earlier, the photos could be released upon the request from individuals if the images were in specific categories, such as “non-consensual explicit.” But now Google is extending the types to include minors, and the company said their teams would review each request for image removal and take action if the submissions do satisfy the conditions.…

The ongoing legal battle between tech giant Apple and Epic Games shows no signs of ending anytime soon. This time, the Fortnite creator has opposed the tech giant’s efforts to put a hold on orders in an antitrust trial until a US court decides the outcome of its appeal.
