Tamil Nadu shows the lowest in the NCERT survey of Class III students

A survey conducted by NCERT has revealed that Tamil Nadu has the highest number of Class III students who don’t have basic numeracy skills in India. 29% of TN’s Class III students couldn’t perform most of the basic grade-level tasks, which is against the national average of 11%. The tasks include number identification and discrimination, division, multiplication, and fractions as well as identifying patterns comprising numbers and shapes, dates and months in a calendar. Election Commission suggests donations of over ₹2,000 to political parties can't be anonymous

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar proposed the amendment to the Representation of the People (RP) Act to “cleanse the political funding landscape” in a letter to the law minister Kiren Rijiju.
