Akasa Air, the youngest airline started its first flight operations from Delhi International Airport here on Friday. The first flight has taken off from Delhi Airport at 11:40 pm and reached Bengaluru Airport at 2:25 pm. Earlier on August 7, Akasa Air started its commercial domestic operations and plans are afoot to begin international flights by the end of 2022. Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is now available for the Bengaluru public from Friday onwards. Union Cabinet Ministry approved Rs 10,000 crores for the redevelopment of three major railway stations New Delhi, Mumbai  Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Ahmedabad railway stations into world-class stations here on Thursday. ​​Archaeological Survey of India conducted a major exploration on Wednesday at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.  During exploration, ASI found ancient caves and temples, mural inscriptions relevant to names of cities like Kaushambi, Sepatanaairikaa, Vejabharada, Parvata and Mathura in old scripts like Brahmi, Nagari and Shankhalipi etc and remains of Buddhist structures from period of 2nd century to 5th century of the Mahayana sect. The Indian Naval Ship Vessel INS Sunayna’ participated for the first time in the world’s largest multinational naval partnership, Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) exercise conducted in the Indian Ocean island country Seychelles. NHSRCL (National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited) invited bids for the construction of a 21 km long tunnel for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor in Maharashtra State. In a 21 km long tunnel, seven kilometres long will be an underwater sea tunnel at Thane Creek, an intertidal zone (on the shore, between high tide and low tide, where sea and land meet).
