On Sunday, three people were killed in the districts of Kamrup (Rural), Nagaon, and Udalguri. The Kamrup (Metro) district reported the newest cases on Sunday, with 38, followed by 25 in Sivasagar, 23 in Cachar, and nine in Nagaon. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested former Mumbai Police commissioner Sanjay Pandey on Tuesday in connection with an alleged illegal phone tapping of NSE employees, according to officials. New GST rates hikes with goods to be costlier 

With the new GST hike, consumers may have to pay more starting July 18 because the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council approved a rate hike to fix inverted duty structures and took away some exemptions.
