August GST collections cross the Rs 1 lakh crore mark indicating economic recovery.

GST collection for May 2022 is 1.41 lakh crore, as per the latest data released by the finance Ministry on Wednesday.  The gross GST collection for the month of May is 44% higher than the same month of the last year 2021, which was the ₹97,821 crore. “GST collection in May declined 16 percent ” the revenues from the import of goods and revenues from domestic transactions are also 43% and 44% higher than the same month of last year respectively.
