The presence of water has been found in the shallow lakes of the satellite of Jupiter. Europa, discovered by Galileo Galilei is one of the 57 satellites of Jupiter which have been given an official name by the international astronomical union (IAU). It was discovered in 1610 and has an axial tilt of 0.1 degrees. The DART (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) took place some 11 million km from Earth. NASA’s Dart programme scientist, Dr Tom Statler, also had a word of caution about drawing too many conclusions from the experiment.
